Traditional Middle School may feel awkward and “fitting in” can be challenging.
We’re not just horsing around here, but it is a big part of our program. At Middle ACP everyone works together in small groups with educators as we forge a new path to learning. We use horses as teachers to learn skills such as communication, focus, teamwork, relationship development, trust building and problem-solving.
School can seem overwhelming at times, large classes, busy hallways and the social scene can seem like too much
We use the great outdoors as our classroom in addition to an indoor space right in the heart of Middlebury. Every student is different, and our goal is to provide them with the skills they need such as accessing new learning, resolving conflict, building positive self-esteem and working with others .
